Required Skills

Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Engineer (Diploma in Electrical) with 3–5 years of experience in the machine manufacturing industry to join our Production Department. This is a hands-on role focused on machine wiring, electrical panel assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. The candidate will also be required to read, understand, and work as per electrical drawings and wiring diagrams, ensuring accurate execution during machine production and assembly. The role demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills to support machine manufacturing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute machine wiring, panel assembly, and cabling in line with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and panel layouts to carry out production work accurately.
  • Install and integrate motors, drives, PLCs, relays, contactors, switches, sensors, and control panels.
  • Perform testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and control systems during production and assembly.
  • Support machine trials, pre-dispatch inspections, and site commissioning activities when required.
  • Document wiring modifications, panel changes, and maintain updated electrical drawings for reference.
  • Collaborate with design, mechanical, and production teams for seamless machine assembly and installation.
  • Ensure electrical safety practices and compliance with company quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve wiring layouts, assembly methods, and component reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and operators when necessary.
